Quote from Syniehubov: "The shelling took place in the Industrialnyi district; according to preliminary data, there are 7 civilian casualties. The information is being updated."
Details: Locals say there have been power outages since the shelling began, and some people had trouble with access to water. It is likely that Russian forces shelled Kharkiv with artillery, given the fact that the air-raid siren was not sounded.
Natalia Popova, advisor to the head of the Kharkiv Oblast Council, said that one child had been killed in the northern part of Kharkiv Oblast.
Later on, Serhii Bolvinov, head of the Investigative Department of the Kharkiv Oblast Police, reported that five civilians had been killed and 11 wounded as a result of the Russian attack on Kharkiv’s Industrialnyi district.
Bolvinov said Russian occupying forces opened fire on commercial and residential buildings. According to preliminary information, the Russians deployed an Uragan (Hurricane) self-propelled multiple rocket launcher.
Earlier: A missile launched by the Russian occupying forces on the city of Kharkiv on 20 June hit the city’s metro (underground railway) infrastructure, injuring one metro employee and damaging three trains.
