Details: The Land Forces report that the Mastiff armoured vehicles can carry eight troops, plus two crew.

The Mastiff has a maximum speed of 90kph, and can be armed with a 7.62mm general purpose machine gun, 12.7mm heavy machine gun or 40mm automatic grenade launcher.

Earlier: The UK has agreed to supply Ukraine with at least 120 armoured vehicles, including 80 Mastiff, Husky and Wolfhound vehicles designed for transporting personnel across the battlefield, including within the direct fire zone. The other 40 vehicles are designed for other purposes, including conducting reconnaissance operations at the battlefield.

In April it was reported that Ukrainian troops had begun training to use the armoured vehicles supplied by the UK. Training took place in the UK.

On 28 June, Oleksii Reznikov, Minister of Defence of Ukraine, included the Mastiff armoured vehicles in the list of military equipment and weapons that Ukrainian troops had already mastered.
