Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy Russian ammunition depot in southern Ukraine

Over the course of 14 July, the Armed Forces of Ukraine killed 18 Russian soldiers in southern Ukraine and destroyed a Russian self-propelled Gvozdika howitzer and a field ammunition depot.

Details:The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed six Russian vehicles, including several armoured vehicles. Additional effects and outcomes of the combat operations conducted by Ukrainian forces on 14 July are being clarified.

Pivden (South) Operational Command notes that pairs of Russian helicopters conducted airstrikes in the north of Kherson Oblast in an attempt to strike the positions of Ukrainian troops. These strikes were unsuccessful and the Russians retreated. A Russian Su-35 fighter jet used air-to-air missiles in an attempt to strike down Ukrainian assault jets in the sky over Nova Kakhovka, but was unsuccessful: the Ukrainian aircraft sustained no damage or losses.

A pair of Russian Su-24 jets attempted to destroy the Russian military equipment left on Zmiinyi (Snake) Island. The Ukrainian forces on the island did not sustain any losses.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces conducted four strikes on a concentration of Russian troops, weapons and equipment in the area around Pravdyne, Lozove and Blahodatne.
