Sumy Oblast: Russia shells several villages, 1 civilian killed

One civilian was killed in the Hlukhiv hromada [amalgamated territorial community - ed.] in Sumy Oblast as a result of Russian shelling. Another four civilians sustained injuries.

Details: Zhyvytskyi noted that Russian forces opened fire on the Hlukhiv hromada using mortars at about 10:00 on 15 July. Nine explosions took place as a result. After 13:00, Russia used rocket artillery to fire on the hromada, hitting it with over 20 rockets.

Three civilians were injured in the Bilopillia hromada, which was hit by eight shells that Russian forces fired using tubed artillery around 14:00. Around 16:00, eight explosions took place following a Russian mortar attack.

Just after 10:00, the Shalyhyne hromada was hit by 10 rounds of mortar fire. 

Russian forces opened mortar fire on the Seredyna-Buda hromada at around noon. Four explosions took place there.

Earlier: On Friday, 15 July, a car with two civilians was blown up by a mine in Sumy Oblast; one man died, the other was hospitalised.
