Quote: "Regarding the fact that Shoigu [Sergey Shoigu, Russian Minister of Defence - ed.] has reported to the midget [i.e., Vladimir Putin, Russian President - ed.] that they [the Russian forces - ed.] have long controlled all of Luhansk Oblast, I can say that yes, they control most of the oblast, but fierce fighting is continuing in two villages.

They are unable to advance there. They are losing not only military personnel, but also equipment – and a lot of it. The assaults continue, they keep coming, but so far they haven’t been able to achieve anything there."

Details: Haidai added that the partisan movement was active in Luhansk Oblast.

"Sometimes they distribute fliers on the occupied territories, sometimes the collaborators are blown up, sometimes our troops receive precise information concerning the enemy’s movements, and so on. The partisan movement is active, and is rather successful," the head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration noted.

Earlier: Sergey Shoigu, the Russian Minister of Defence, reported to President Putin that the entire territory of Luhansk Oblast has been occupied by Russian forces as early as 3 July.

Shoigu has also embellished his achievements before Putin in the past. For example, on 21 April he told the Russian president that "Mariupol has been liberated." Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defence Forces did not leave the Azovstal plant in Mariupol until almost a month later, on 17 May.
