Russian troops attacked the centre of Kramatorsk on 19 July, leaving at least one person dead.

Details: Kyrylenko also reported "loud explosions in Kramatorsk": early reports indicate that the Russian army hit the central part of the city with missiles from the air.

Kyrylenko noted that as of 13:33, at least one civilian is known to have been killed.

Fires broke out in the residential high-rise buildings that were at the epicentre of the impact. Rescue workers from the State Emergency Service are putting out fires and providing assistance to people.

Background: In recent days, the Russian army has repeatedly struck the industrial zone of Kramatorsk.
