Russians pound communities in the region, more than 80 incoming strikes - Sumy region

Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, head of the Sumy Military Administration, has reported the shelling of hromadas [Amalgamated Territorial Communities - ed.] in the oblast over the previous 24 hours.

Details: At 10:00, the Russians fired two bursts of 4 rocket-propelled grenades at the Shalyhyne community.

After 11:00, there were strikes using BM-21 Grad multiple-launch rocket systems, with more than 30 incoming strikes.

Premises in the Shalyhyne Forestry district were damaged and 2 service vehicles were burnt.

One local resident was wounded by shrapnel from Russian ammunition, and a man is now in hospital.

The hromada of Esman was shelled with tube artillery, with 12 incoming strikes. At noon, there were 14 strikes, according to preliminary data, from self-propelled guns.

The hromada of Bilopolska was hit by mortar fire. Closer to 14:00, there were 8 more mortar strikes.

Towards the evening, the Russians opened fire using multiple-launch rocket systems on the hromada of Novoslobidska, with 10 incoming strikes.
