3 children injured by Russian drone in Volyn – prosecutors

On 25 July, as a result of the downing of two Russian drones in Volyn, three children were injured in the village of Dubove; another child was injured in Krasnohorivka during shelling.

Details: According to prosecutors, after the explosion of a Russian drone a 16-year-old boy and two girls aged 8 and 16 were injured in the village of Dubove, in the Kovel district of Volyn Oblast.

Additionally, on Monday, a 5-year-old girl was injured as a result of shelling by Russian troops in Krasnohorivka, Donetsk Oblast.

In total, during the course of the full-scale war, at least 1,048 children have been affected in Ukraine: 358 children have been killed and 690 children have been injured.

During the full-scale war, the highest numbers of children have been affected in the following oblasts: Donetsk Oblast - 363, Kharkiv Oblast - 194, Kyiv Oblast - 116, Chernihiv Oblast - 68, Luhansk Oblast- 61, Mykolaiv Oblast - 55, Kherson Oblast - 54, Zaporizhzhia - 40.

These numbers are not final, as work is ongoing to establish them in places of active hostilities, temporarily occupied and liberated territories.
