Zelenskyy has asked the NATO states to provide Ukraine with more heavy armaments for counter-offensive

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, during a talk with Jens Stoltenberg, the secretary general of NATO, claimed that NATO member states need to provide Ukraine with more heavy armaments so that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are able to repel Russia’s attacks and carry out the counter-offensive.

Apart from this, Zelenskyy has stressed the importance of getting non-lethal military aid from the Alliance in the shortest possible time within the complex package which had been approved at the NATO Summit in Madrid.

He has stressed the importance of complete financing of the above mentioned aid.

Zelenskyy has separately discussed the status of processing Ukraine’s requests to NATO concerning the aid with humanitarian demining and expressed his hope that the process of supplying Ukraine with the required equipment will be sped up.

Stoltenberg stated earlier that he had discussed the priorities of military support of Ukraine with Zelenskyy.
