President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine said that the "situation on the frontline clearly indicates that the initiative belongs to Ukraine".

Quote: "The situation on the frontline clearly indicates that the initiative belongs to Ukraine. Our defenders very carefully and very courageously fulfil the tasks set out by their commanders.

Today, I would like to particularly note the 81st Separate Airborne Assault Brigade for its courage in liberating settlements in Donetsk Oblast. And [to thank] the 93rd Separate Mechanised Brigade for the heroic defence of Bakhmut and Soledar."
