Protests against mobilisation in Russia: detained participants were given mobilisation notices

Mobilisation notices were handed over to the participants of protests against partial mobilisation, which took place in Moscow and Voronezh. The Russian government announced partial mobilisation on 21 September.

Details: Kiril Goncharov, member of the Yabloko party, posted a photo of a mobilisation notice which was handed over to a protest participant at the Mozhaisk district police station.

 

A wife of one of the protestors who was detained in the Sokolinaya Gora district reported that a military commissar himself gave her husband a military notice. This process was filmed by the policemen.

Notices were also handed over in Voronezh Police station #8 where arrested protestors have been taken.

Background: On 21 September, protests were held in Russian cities after partial mobilisation was announced. Law enforcement agencies report that police arrested at least 1,176 people.
