Russian forces fire nearly 30 rockets on Nikopol and Marhanets, killing civilians

Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, has said that Russian forces opened fire on the cities of Nikopol and Marhanets on the morning of 23 September, killing at least two civilians.

Details: Reznichenko reported that Russian forces used Grad multiple-rocket launchers to fire nearly 30 rockets on Nikopol and Marhanets.

Two civilians, a man and a woman, were killed. Early reports indicate that another nine civilians sustained injuries; rescue workers rescued three of them from the rubble.

One house caught fire, which has been extinguished by firefighters. A total of eight houses were damaged, and one was completely destroyed.

Around 2,200 households have been left without power. Emergency teams of electrical engineers are already repairing the damaged power lines.

Preliminary reports indicate that 10 homes have been damaged in Nikopol.
