Entry to occupied territories via Zaporizhzhia temporarily suspended

Due to the recent Russian attack on a humanitarian convoy in Zaporizhzhia, the entry to occupied territories through this city has been temporarily suspended; this was the route Ukrainians used to pick up their relatives from the occupation and to deliver humanitarian aid.

Details: Haidai added that in order to get additional information, people are advised to contact the police.

Background: In the morning of 30 September, Russian forces have carried out a rocket strike on the outskirts of the city of Zaporizhzhia, hitting a convoy of civilian cars as it attempted to head for the occupied territory to pick up relatives and deliver humanitarian aid. The attack resulted in severe casualties, as more than 20 people were killed and several dozen wounded.
