Zelenskyy decorates US Secretary of State and UK Defence Minister for their support

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine awarded the Second Class Order of Yaroslav the Wise to Antony Blinken, US Secretary of State.

Details: Blinken received the order for "significant personal merits in strengthening interstate cooperation, support of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine".
The US Secretary of State paid an unannounced visit to Kyiv on Thursday, 8 September. On the same day, the US Department of Defense announced the authorisation of security assistance valued at up to $675 million "to meet Ukraine’s critical security and defense needs".
Zelenskyy also presented the Second Class Order of Yaroslav the Wise to Ben Wallace, Secretary of State for Defence of the United Kingdom; that was indicated on the website of the Office of the President.
Wallace was also awarded for "significant personal merits in strengthening interstate cooperation, support of state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine".
Wallace has kept his position as Minister of Defence in the new government formed by new British Prime Minister Liz Truss.
Previously: On 24 August, Zelenskyy awarded the Order of Freedom, Ukraine’s highest state award for foreign citizens, to Boris Johnson, the-then Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, during his visit to Kyiv.
