Russian rockets hit infrastructure of 20 settlements, threat of strikes remains — General Staff

As a result of a massive rocket attack by the Russian army, infrastructure in more than 20 cities and towns of Ukraine was damaged on 10 October, and the occupiers have launched more than 84 rocket and air strikes.

Quote: "The Russian occupation forces, having no achievements on the battlefield, use tactics of terrorism against the civilian population of Ukraine. Violating the norms of international humanitarian law, the laws and customs of warfare, they strike critical infrastructure, as well as residential buildings.
The Russian army has once again launched rocket and air strikes on populated peaceful Ukrainian cities.
Due to the massive rocket attack, facilities in more than 20 cities and towns were damaged, and civilians were injured. The list of affected cities includes Kyiv, Lviv, Rivne, Zhytomyr, Ternopil, Khmelnytskyi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Vinnytsia, Pryluky, Nizhyn, Konotop, Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Odesa. Once again, civilians have died."
Details: During the day, 10 October, the occupiers launched more than 84 rocket and air strikes. For attacks on cities and villages, they used cruise, ballistic and anti-aircraft guided missiles, and strike drones.
The Air Force units and the air defence system of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 56 aerial targets: 43 cruise missiles and 13 unmanned aerial vehicles.
The threat of Russian air and rocket strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine remains, the General Staff warned.
Russian forces are trying to hold the temporarily captured territories, concentrating their efforts on trying to disrupt the counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on certain fronts. At the same time, they are conducting spontaneous offensive actions on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts.
