Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration, said that on the morning of 12 October, Russian troops hit energy infrastructure facilities in Kamianske district, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Background: The Russians attacked the Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with Grad MLRS and heavy artillery all night long. Three people were wounded in Nikopol, including a 6-year-old girl. All the wounded are in hospital. Doctors report that their condition is serious. More than 30 high-rise and residential buildings, two kindergartens, a school, two businesses, and several shops have been damaged in the city. Several gas pipelines and power lines have been hit by shelling. There were no casualties in Marhanets or Myrove hromadas [administrative units designating the cities of Marhanets and Nikopol and their adjacent territories]. The scale of the destruction is being ascertained.
