Russia strikes at infrastructure in Sumy Oblast, two districts are cut off from grid

On 12 October, Russia shelled infrastructure facilities in Sumy Oblast with artillery systems.  Two districts of the oblast have been left without electricity as a result of the attack.

Quote: "Unfortunately,  two more enemy artillery attacks at infrastructure facilities were launched from the territory of the Russian Federation. We have an emergency shutdown of electricity in the Sumy and Shostka districts. I ask for your understanding of this situation."

Details: Zhyvytskyi added that a schedule of rolling blackouts will be published as soon as there is a possibility to create one from a technical point of view.

He reported that, as of 7:00, 247 consumers were left without electricity supply in Oblast.

 

Previously: On the night of 11 October, it became known that after a massive rocket attack on Sumy Oblast, power supply was restored in two districts, in the rest - partially.
