Details: When discussing what was happening in the skies over Ukraine on the night of 12 October, Ihnat said that air-raid alarms in Ukraine’s oblasts might last longer than citizens were used to because of the use of slow-moving Iranian-made kamikaze drones by Russian forces.

Quote from Ihnat: "Air-raid sirens were sounded in several oblasts. We know that [Russia deployed] kamikaze drones which had recently been delivered to Belarus. Why do their [i.e., in appropriate Oblasts] air-raid alarms last for so long? Let me explain this to the residents of western, and other, oblasts. The drones move at a relatively low speed of about 120-150 kilometres per hour. Supposedly, being in the air for a long time allows [the drones] to adjust their trajectory.

That’s why the air-raid alarms will last a bit longer [than usual]."

Previously: Ukrainian forces shot down a Russian air target in the skies over Rivne Oblast and two attack drones in Vinnytsia Oblast during air raids on 12 October.
