Russia's losses exceed 66,000 personnel

Russia has so far lost 66,280 military personnel, 2,554 tanks and 269 aircraft in its war of aggression against Ukraine.

Details: Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 19 October 2022 are estimated to be [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses - ed.]:

  • 66,280 (+430) military personnel;
  • 2,554 (+6)  tanks;
  • 5,235 (+16) armoured combat vehicles;
  • 1,637 (+15) artillery systems;
  • 372 (+0)  multiple-launch rocket systems;
  • 189 (+1) air defence systems;
  • 269 (+1) fixed-wing aircraft;
  • 242 (+0) helicopters;
  • 1,286 (+10) operational-tactical UAVs;
  • 323 (+5) cruise missiles;
  • 16 (+0) ships/boats;
  • 3,999 (+14) vehicles and tankers;
  • 146 (+2) special vehicles and other equipment.
