Ukraine forms new anti-aircraft missile regiment in Poltava Oblast

A new military unit has been formed on the eastern front as part of Ukraine’s Air Force.

Quote: "An anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Air Force Command Skhid (East) was formed in Poltava Oblast on 25 October.
The decision to form a new combat unit was taken in light of the need to carry out combat missions to cover groupings of troops, critical infrastructure targets, administrative and industrial centres and crucial government facilities in eastern Ukraine."
Details: The regiment is currently undertaking the mission to cover Ukraine’s airspace and is continuing to staff and coordinate its units.
The units that make up the regiment have a record of victories in anti-aircraft warfare.
