Quote: "We have advanced sufficiently. We cannot specify the axes but it is safe to say that over 400 km2 of the Kherson Oblast were liberated from the occupiers (since the beginning of the active counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in October – ed.). And we are advancing further".

Details: Humeniuk reports that in general, the situation remains complex on the Southern front, and it is changing rapidly. The defence forces of Ukraine are advancing up to 20 km on a few axes along the frontline.

At the same time, Russians have been landing powerful attacks on liberated territories and the areas beyond the front lines (for example, near the city of Nikopol, where the water reservoir is located). The invaders have been opening fire from multiple-launch rocket systems and heavy artillery all the time. These powerful attacks deal damage to infrastructure and result in injuries, which puts much pressure on civilians there, Natalia Humeniuk concluded.
