Russia wants to teach its schoolchildren how to throw grenades and operate drones

Dmitry Chernyshenko, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, has instructed the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Sports of Russia to expand the set of mandatory disciplines of the "Ready for Labour and Defence" course; the official proposes to teach schoolchildren to throw grenades, shoot rifles and operate UAVs.

Details: Chernyshenko has also proposed to conduct military and sports training for schoolchildren in children's camps during holidays.Reports say that the Zarnitsa war game will make the backbone of such activities [Zarnitsa is an imitation of military actions: reconnaissance, battles, etc.].

Chernyshenko has instructed the ministries to prepare their proposals for the implementation of this initiative.
