First two surface drones to be named "Kherson" and "Sevastopol" – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has noted that the liberation of Kherson Oblast has brought the liberation of occupied Crimea closer, and the second surface drone [an unmanned surface vehicle purchased under the government-launched United24 initiative] is to be named "Sevastopol".

Quote: "Fundraising to create a fleet of surface drones has started on our fundraising platform, United24. Now everyone - not only in Ukraine but in other countries too - can join in with building up the world's first fleet of surface drones. A fleet that can give security to our maritime area.

The first surface unmanned vehicle, for which the funds were raised in less than an hour, was named ‘Kherson’.

Which is entirely logical. We’ll call the second surface drone ‘Sevastopol’. I believe that all this brings the liberation of Crimea closer."
