Chief of Wagner PMC presses new charges against Governor of St. Petersburg, suspecting him of treason

Yevgeniy Prigozhin, the Chief of the Wagner Private Military Company, has pressed charges against Aleksandr Beglov, the governor of St. Petersburg; this time, Prigozhin suspects the official of high treason.

Quote from press service: "The legal service of the company Concord informs that today [13 November – ed.], Yevgeniy Prigozhin sent a statement with a request to conduct an investigation against Alexander Beglov, the Governor of St. Petersburg, to the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation and Federal Counterintelligence Service of Russia, under Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (High Treason)".

Background:
