Just over the past week:

  • Convoys of invaders have been arriving in Melitopol from both Kherson and the temporarily occupied city of Tokmak, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
  • Fortifications are being built around the perimeter of Melitopol.
  • Military personnel are moving into homes, schools and kindergartens that they have seized. Military equipment is being placed in residential areas.
  • Civilians are prohibited from approaching the area around Melitopol airfield.
  • Busloads of people from the self-proclaimed DNR [Donetsk People’s Republic] arrived at Melitopol’s School No. 22 today. Grad multiple-launch rocket systems were set up in the courtyard of the school.
  • Kadyrovites [soldiers from the Chechen Republic who fight as part of the Russian Armed Forces – ed.] are operating in the village of Plodorodne; they have hung flags with pictures of their leader on them everywhere.
  • Searches are being conducted in Mykhailivka and Zarichne; the invaders check the houses and ask if there are any men [hiding].
  • Empty houses in the Pryazovsk, Novovasylivka and Olexandrivka hromadas are being broken into and occupied.
  • In Kyrylivka, the occupiers have seized recreation centres and moved into them.
  • They drove straight into the village of Sheliugy near Kyrylivka in tanks, moved into a kindergarten, and blocked access to the forest."

Details: Fedorov added that the Armed Forces of Ukraine "know very well where the enemy is located and what to do to make them run away from the Ukrainian land."
