Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian attacks near 10 settlements – General Staff report

Over the course of the past 24 hours, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled Russian attacks in the vicinity of the following cities, towns and villages: Novoselivske (Luhansk Oblast); and Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Vremivka, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novokalynove, Novomykhailivka and Pervomaiske (Donetsk Oblast).

Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 4 missile strikes and 23 airstrikes, as well as more than 70 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS).

There were no changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts. The Republic of Belarus is continuing to aid and support Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine by allowing Russian forces to use its infrastructure, territory and airspace.

There is an ongoing threat of Russian missile strikes and airstrikes, including with the use of combat drones, from Belarusian territory and airspace.

Russian forces continued to fire on military and civilian targets:

  • On the Sivershchyna front: Russian forces deployed mortars, tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Vorozhba, Mykolaivka, Romashkove, Stepok and Yunakivka (Sumy Oblast);
  • On the Slobozhanshchyna front: Russian forces deployed various types of artillery to fire on areas in and around Hlyboke, Ohirtseve, Okhrimivka, Riznykove, Starytsia, Strilecha and Ternova (Kharkiv Oblast);
  • On the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts: Russian forces deployed tank guns, mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in and around Dvorichna, Zahryzove, Kyslivka, Kolodiazne, Kopanky, Kotliarivka and Tabaivka (Kharkiv Oblast); Berestove and Ivanivka (Donetsk Oblast); and Makiivka, Nevske, Novoselivske, Ploshchanka and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk Oblast);
  • On the Bakhmut front: the Russians deployed tank guns and various types of artillery to fire on areas in and around Andriivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Hryhorivka, Ozarianivka, Klishchiivka, Kurdiumivka, Serebrianka, Soledar, Spirne, Toretsk and Yakovlivka (Donetsk Oblast);
  • On the Avdiivka front: the Russians deployed tank guns, mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Vodiane, Marinka, Nevelske, Novomykhailivka, Novoselivka Druha and Pervomaiske (Donetsk Oblast);
  • On the Novopavlivka front: the Russians fired on areas in and around Bohoiavlenka, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Neskuchne, Novopil, Pavlivka, Paraskoviivka and Prechystivka (Donetsk Oblast) using tank guns, mortars and tubed and rocket artillery;
  • On the Zaporizhzhia front: Russian forces fired on areas in and around Bilohiria, Dorozhnianka, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novopokrovka and Temyrivka using tanks and all types of artillery at their disposal;
  • On the Kherson front: Russian forces deployed mortars and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in and around Vyshchetarasivka, Dobra Nadiia, Illinka (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast); and Dudchany, Novooleksandrivka, Odradokamianka and Tomaryne (Kherson Oblast).

Over the past 24 hours, Ukrainian aircraft carried out 21 airstrikes on Russian forces, striking 18 clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment and 3 anti-aircraft missile systems.

Ukraine’s defence forces additionally shot down 2 Orlan UAVs.

Ukraine’s Rocket Forces and Artillery struck 3 Russian command posts, 19 clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment, an anti-aircraft missile system and 2 ammunition storage points.
