Heat supply suspended in Lviv

After a massive missile attack, heat supply has been temporarily suspended in Lviv; 80% of the city remains without electricity.

Source: Andrii Sadovyi, Mayor of Lviv, on Telegram

Quote from Sadovyi: "80% of Lviv remains without electricity. Due to the lack of electricity, the supply of heat has been temporarily suspended. There is no hot water. Our utility companies are already starting diesel generators."

Details: According to Sadovyi, trams and trolleys are not running in the city. Due to the lack of electricity, cars with loudspeakers will announce the all-clear sound of the air-raid siren in the city.

The mayor also reported that as a result of shelling in Lviv, one person was injured; the person was hospitalised.

  • The Russian occupiers struck the critical infrastructure of Kharkiv, which is why there are problems with electricity; a part of the city was cut off after the explosions in Lviv.
  • President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that on 15 November, 85 missile strikes were carried out in Ukraine, and energy infrastructure was damaged in many cities.
