Russia destroyed 3 million hectares of forest and ruined 332 educational facilities – Zelenskyy

Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, has said that due to Russian aggression in Ukraine, almost 3 million hectares of forest have been destroyed and 332 educational facilities ruined.

Quote: "Russia claims to act to protect the environment, but for some reason has ruined almost 3 million hectares of forest in our country with its aggression! The forests have burned as a result of artillery attacks. And this is only one of a thousand Russian crimes against the Ukrainian environment."

Details: The Ukrainian president also reported that in the 9 months of the war, 2,719 Ukrainian educational facilities have been hit and 332 were completely destroyed.

Zelenskyy added that at the G20 Summit in Indonesia, Russia formally supported the 52 points of the Bali Declaration, "but in reality it [Russia – ed.] violates the majority of these points, and some topical global issues, which the G20 declared it wished to solve, were caused by Russia."
