3 Russian MiG-31K jets and containers that can store Kinzhal missiles spotted in Belarus

Three MiG-31K interceptor jets of the Russian Air Force, which can carry Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic missiles, are now deployed at the Machulishchy airfield in Belarus.

Details: The Norwegian Faktisk has published satellite images of the Machulishchy airfield, which were taken by Planet Labs on 18 and 31 October at 10:41 (Kyiv time).

The latest photos show three MiG-31K supersonic interceptors, which can carry Kh-47M2 Kinzhal hypersonic air-launched ballistic missiles; the interceptors are capable of launching them at a distance of 2,000 km.

The Belaruski Hajun monitoring group reports that these are interceptor jets with the following registration numbers: RF-92462, RF-92339 and RF-92333.

In addition, the images show several missile containers where Kinzhal missiles can be stored.

The monitoring group previously reported on the possible delivery of Kinzhals to Machulishchy airfield.

The missiles could be delivered to the airfield on 16 October, when three Il-76 military transport aircraft of the Russian Air Force (RF-86902, RF-76722, RF-76724) arrived from Russia.

6 Mi-24 helicopters and 2 Mi-8 helicopters of the Air Force of Belarus were also identified in the photos.
