Rescue operations in Kryvyi Rih and in the Pavlohrad district have been completed. Rescue workers have brought to the surface nearly 3,000 miners who had been trapped in the mines as a result of blackouts."

Details: Lukashuk specified that 653 miners have been rescued in Kryvyi Rih; they were trapped underground as a result of a blackout at several mines on 23 November. Over 2,000 miners in the Pavlohrad district have also been rescued.

The head of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration said that energy technicians are continuing to work to restore power. As of the morning of 24 November, 50% of households in the oblast have had power restored. Reznichenko explained that due to the difficult energy situation in the country, scheduled blackouts will resume to reduce the load on Ukraine’s power grid.

On the night of 23–24 November, Russian forces deployed heavy artillery to shell the Marhanets hromada five times, firing a total of 30 shells. There were no casualties. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating, in this case, the city of Marhanets and its adjacent territories – ed.]

Emergency service workers are inspecting the scene and establishing the details of the attacks.

There was no shelling in other parts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast overnight. Radiation levels are within normal limits.
