Armed Forces of Ukraine repel Russian attacks near 14 settlements – General Staff

Ukrainian Defence Forces have repelled Russian attacks in areas around 14 settlements and hit Russian targets over the past 24 hours.

Details: Over the past 24 hours, units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled attacks by Russian invaders in the areas of the settlements of Hryanykivka of Kharkiv Oblast, Novoselivske, Chervonopopivka, Serebrianske and Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Bilohorivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Kurdiumivka, Nevelske, Marinka, Pobieda and Novomykolaivka in Donetsk Oblast.

At the same time, the occupiers launched 1 air and 11 missile strikes, of which 3 were on civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. The occupiers also launched more than 60 attacks from multiple-launch rocket systems.

On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, Russians attacked the areas of the settlements of Leonivka, Buchky and Hai of Chernihiv Oblast and Kucherivka and Kindrativka in Sumy Oblast, as well as Strilecha, Starytsia, Tykhe, Ambarne, Vilkhuvatka, Khatnie, Milove, Dvorichna and Krasne in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupiansk and Lymansk fronts, the areas of the settlements of Kupiansk, Kotliarivka, Tabaivka and Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast were shelled by tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery; Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Miasozharivka, Grekivka, Ploshchanka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka and Pishchane of Luhansk Oblast; Novosadove and Terny of Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut front, the occupiers fired on the areas in and around the settlements of Serebrianka, Verkhniokaminske, Spirne, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Klishchiivka, and Kurdiumivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka front, the occupiers fired from tanks and artillery in the areas of almost 20 settlements. Among them are Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Nevelske, Heorhiivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, the invaders fired in and around the settlements of Vremivka, Vuhledar, Neskuchne, Prechystivka in Donetsk Oblast and Plavni, Huliaipole, Dorozhnianka and Olhivske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On the Kherson front, Russians continue to fire at the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and civilian infrastructure in the settlements along the right bank of the Dnipro River. More than 20 settlements came under fire. In particular, Chornobaivka, Antonivka, Mykilske, Tokarivka, Novokairy, Respublikanets, Mylove of Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson.

According to the General Staff, due to the significant number of wounded invaders, the so-called "decree" by the occupying authorities "decreed" that Hospital No. 15 in the settlement of Yuvileine in Luhansk Oblast and Hospital No. 3 in the city of Luhansk be used for [Russian] military purposes.

On the night of 12-13 December, more than 15 military servicemen of the Russian Federation were killed near the settlement of Novoaidar in Luhansk Oblast. In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Russian losses amounted to up to 100 injured occupiers, and an ammunition storage point was destroyed.

Rocket Forces and Artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit two command posts and four clusters of Russian military personnel.
