Kyiv City Military Administration tells of aftermath of night drone attack on Kyiv

Ukrainian air defence forces shot down five Shahed drones that attacked Kyiv, with one of the loitering UAVs destroying part of an administrative building in the Holosiivskyi district and damaging windows in a residential building.

Details: According to Popko, five Russian drones were spotted in Kyiv’s airspace. Air defence forces destroyed all aerial targets.

One of the Shahed loitering munitions hit an administrative building in the Holosiivskyi district of the capital, as a result of which the building was partially destroyed and windows were damaged in a residential building nearby.

Background: Kuleba reported that the Russians were attacking Kyiv Oblast with drones on the night of 29-30 December.

Later, it became known that the Russians had targeted infrastructure facilities in the oblast, but, according to preliminary data, "there were no strikes".
