Emergency power outages continue in Kyiv, and Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa and Kyiv Oblasts
There are emergency power outages in the city of Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk and Odesa Oblasts, on the morning of 9 December.
This was reported by DTEK, a Ukrainian energy company and the largest private investor in the energy industry in Ukraine.
"Emergency blackouts are taking place in Kyiv. This is a necessary step in order to balance the energy system and avoid equipment failures.
The schedules of stabilisation power outages currently do not function! We ask all the citizens to be patient and calm. The country’s power engineers are doing everything they can to solve the problem", says the report by DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks.
"There are emergency power outages in the oblast. This is a necessary step in order to balance the energy system and avoid equipment failures.
The schedules of stabilisation power outages currently do not function!," reports the statement published by DTEK Odesa Electric Networks, DTEK Dnipropetrovsk Electric Networks and DTEK Kyiv Electric Networks.
