Ukrainian Defence Forces strike 9 clusters of Russian manpower and 4 command posts – General Staff

Ukrainian defenders repelled Russian attacks and also struck 9 clusters of Russian military personnel, 4 Russian command posts and several other crucial targets over the course of 26 January.

Details: Over the course of the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 44 airstrikes, including 18 strikes using Shahed-136 drones. All kamikaze drones have been shot down.

Russia launched 70 different missiles, and out of them 47 cruise missiles were shot down. They deployed multiple-launch rocket systems [MLRS] to carry out 125 further attacks.

As the General Staff noted, people were killed and civilian infrastructure facilities were destroyed as a result of Russian strikes.

Ukraine's Defence Forces repelled the occupiers' attacks in the vicinity of Ploshchanka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Oblast and Verkhniokamianske, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Vodiane, Nevelske, Marinka, Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the situation has not changed significantly. No Russian offensive groups have been reported. However, joint training continues, under the guise of which the Russian Federation is building up an air force group on the territory of Belarus.

Areas of Tymonovychi and Senkivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Tymofiivka, Pavlivka and Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy Oblast, as well as Strilecha, Ternova, Varvarivka, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, Okhrimivka, Budarky, Kolodiazne and Novomlynsk in Kharkiv Oblast came under fire from artillery.

On the Kupiansk front, Russian forces fired on Dvorichne, Synkivka, Podoly, Orlianka, Pishchane, Tabaivka, Berestove and Lozova in Kharkiv Oblast; Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Ivanivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Lyman front, the areas of Makiivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna, Dibrova and Kuzmyne in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Yampolivka in Donetsk Oblast, came under Russian fire.

On the Bakhmut front, Spirne, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Krasna Hora, Paraskoviivka, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, Pivnichne and Niu-York in Donetsk Oblast were shelled.

On the Avdiivka front, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Marinka came under Russian fire.

On the Novopavlivka front, Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka and Vremivka in Donetsk Oblast came under Russian fire.

Russian artillery inflicted damage on over 20 settlements on the Zaporizhzhia front, including Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Poltavka, Chervone, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, Stepove in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; and Vyshchetarasivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

On the Kherson front, the occupiers fired on the city of Kherson once more.

The Ukrainian Air Force conducted eight airstrikes on areas of concentration of Russian occupation forces and a strike on a Russian anti-aircraft missile system. In addition, three Russian reconnaissance UAVs were shot down.

Ukraine's Rocket Forces and Artillery struck four command posts, a cluster of Russian manpower, two clusters of Russian artillery, an ammunition storage point and two other crucial targets.
