Patriot will start defending Ukraine "as soon as possible"

The American Patriot air defence system will be deployed in Ukraine as soon as possible. Preparations for the transfer of these systems have already begun.

Quote: "We ended last year with a revolutionary decision to provide Ukraine with American Patriot systems, as agreed on by the leaders of Ukraine and the United States, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Joseph Biden. We expect the deployment of ‘Patriots’ as soon as possible. Preparations for the transfer of these systems have already begun."

Details: In December, Washington announced the provision of another package of military assistance worth almost 2 billion dollars, which included the supply of the first battery of the Patriot missile defence system for Ukraine.

Earlier, it was reported that the Ukrainian military has already started a training course on working with these systems. Ukraine has developed a special plan for training the military to work with Patriot systems.
