We'll work on aircraft coalition – Zelenskyy after negotiations with Rutte

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Mark Rutte, Prime Minister of the Netherlands, have discussed military aid to Ukraine, including the supply of military aircraft, during Rutte's visit to Kyiv. Nevertheless, the matter of sending aircraft requires further consideration.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "The matter of aircraft is more complicated than the 'tank coalition'. We will definitely be working on this coalition. We have started discussing the training.

This is a question for the entire world, because it does not depend on one country alone. This has a lot of components. Ukraine is insistent in the things that defend our values. We believe that we will have a result in this direction."

Quote from Rutte: "We have seen earlier when we made decisions on tanks and self-propelled artillery units. We believe that we will manage to agree on this like we did with tanks. We think there will be supplies and training but I am not ready to talk about this at the moment.

The Netherlands are trying to supply those jets, yes. But I would not want to elaborate further because this will not help to reach a decision."
