Colin Kahl, US Under Secretary of Defence for Policy, does not rule out that the war in Ukraine might last for another two to three years.

Details: Kahl acknowledged that Ukraine is dependent on assistance from the United States and its partners.

The US Defence Department believes that small portions of territory may change hands in the near future, but that Russia is not expected to make significant progress in advancing through Ukraine.
