Zelenskyy explains where extra half trillion hryvnias for defence will be allocated
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that an additional half a trillion hryvnias, which they want to allocate for the defence of Ukraine, will be used for military salaries, drones, etc.

Quote from Zelenskyy: "I held important coordination meetings. The prime minister, the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, our international experts, the internal political block of the Office. We agreed on the procedure for actions for the coming weeks.
In particular, the government approved and proposed to the Parliament to approve changes to the state budget, more than half a trillion hryvnias – for defence, in addition.
All funds will be used to provide financial support to our military, to support our state defence sector, and to provide defence equipment, including drones."
Details: The authorities also discussed humanitarian mine clearance.
As of now, more than 170 000 square kilometres of Ukraine remain dangerous due to Russian mines and unexploded shells.
Zelenskyy added that the situation in the energy sector is normalised.
