As of 18:30, 209 households and 51 private residential buildings remain flooded in the settlement of Horodeshchyna, Kramatorsk district.

Specialists are strengthening the shoreline of the river and continue to create barriers to a sluice gate.

The water pressure in a sluice gate has decreased and the water level in the Bychok River is gradually decreasing.

The police of Donetsk Oblast have deployed additional patrols to prevent the theft of the property of evacuated citizens and are working together with the State Emergency Service to eliminate the consequences of flooding.

The predetermined cause of a sluice gate's destruction is the outdated design of the gate.

Background: A sluice gate on a pond in the city of Kramatorsk in Donetsk Oblast has been partially destroyed, resulting in an uncontrolled release of water. Nearly 260 private houses on 30 streets were flooded.
