Ukrainian defenders post video of them liberating Blahodatne in Donetsk Oblast

A video from the liberated village of Blahodatne on the border of Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts has emerged online. The soldiers from the 68th Jaeger Brigade Oleksa Dovbush have liberated the settlement, acting jointly with nearby units of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

Details: Ukrainian soldiers hold positions in Blahodatne, but the infamous Z stormtroopers – convicts and the regular Russian army – are still on the outskirts.

The 68th Brigade, which, together with nearby units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, drove the Russian invaders out of the village, continues their mop-up operation to clear the settlement.

Ukrainian soldiers are shooting the rest of the Russian forces with machine guns and sniper rifles.

The Ukrainian defenders demonstrate Russian positions and captured ammunition in the video. In the words of one of the soldiers, "he has never seen such an ammunition storage point before". These are primarily 120-calibre mines.

Besides, the Ukrainian military captured Russian soldiers during the village’s liberation.

Having lost Blahodatne, the Russian occupiers are bombarding the settlement with mortars and artillery.

The intense fighting for Blahodatne took four days. There was a 150-man group of Russian forces in the village. The Ukrainian defenders killed around 50 invaders, while about 70 were wounded.

One of the defenders also said that Ukrainian soldiers regained the settlement after suffering minimal losses (one killed and one wounded): "It was basically the first time people were in combat, and they performed very well".
