Russians strike Sumy Oblast border areas, damaging TV tower and other facilities

Over the course of the past 24 hours, the Russians have launched 21 attacks on border hromadas in Sumy Oblast; there were 119 explosions. [A hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.]

Details: Khotin, Krasnopillia, Bilopillia, Myropillia, Shalyhyne, Druzhba, Esman, Seredyna-Buda, Znob-Novhorodske and Velyka Pysarivka hromadas came under Russian fire. 

Russian forces deployed tubed artillery (three explosions) and mortars (16 explosions) to attack Esman hromada. 

Bilopillia hromada came under mortar (17 explosions) and artillery fire (seven explosions). A television tower was damaged as a result of the shelling.

The Russians shelled Myropillia hromada using artillery (seven explosions), damaging one house, two stores, a power line, the premises of the village council, and an apiary. There was also mortar fire (six explosions).

The Russians dropped six mortar bombs on the territory of Velyka Pysarivka hromada. 

Druzhba hromada was attacked by mortars (four explosions).

Mortar fire was also observed in Khotin hromada (two explosions).

The Russians deployed mortars to attack Krasnopillia hromada (ten explosions). As a result, a grain elevator and equipment were damaged.

Shalyhyne hromada came under Russian artillery fire (ten explosions), which damaged an administrative building.

The Russians deployed mortars (ten explosions) and AGS grenade launchers (20 explosions) to attack Znob-Novhorodske hromada. 

Seredyna-Buda came under Russian mortar fire (five explosions).
