Harmful substances released into atmosphere after Russian night attack on Kharkiv Oblast

Emissions of harmful substances into the atmosphere occurred in the Bohodukhiv district of Kharkiv Oblasts as a result of the Russian night attack.

In connection with the deterioration of air quality, the Kharkiv Oblast Centre for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine calls on the population of Krasnokutsk hromada, and especially residents of the villages of Krasnokutsk, Kachalovka and Liubovka, not to open windows, to wet-clean their homes and limit their time outdoors this weekend (especially for children)."

Earlier, the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration reported that a gas pipeline was damaged  at night as a result of strikes by Shahed-type drones on the territory of a gas extraction enterprise in the village of Stary Merchik, Bohodukhiv district, and a fire occurred on the premises. An employee of the enterprise was injured.

Another fire broke out at night in the village of Kachalovka in Bohodukhiv district on the territory of the oil and gas condensate field as a result of strikes by three Shahed-type drones, there were no casualties.

As a result of shelling of Vovchansk, windows of a house, doors, a garage and outbuildings were damaged at night. A 63-year-old man and a 69-year-old woman were injured.
