Russians attack Sumy Oblast, killing and wounding people and damaging houses and equipment
Over the past day, Russian occupation forces fired 39 times at the border areas of Sumy Oblast, where 252 explosions were recorded. Two people have been killed, ten more have been injured, and houses, power grid facilities and equipment were damaged.

Details: The hromadas of Bilopillia, Nova Sloboda, Khotin, Krasnopillia, Yunakivka, Esman, Shalyhyne and Seredyna-Buda came under Russian fire [a hromada is an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories – ed.].
The Russians fired at Bilopillia hromada with artillery (29 explosions) and mortars (22 explosions).
As a result of one bombardment (three explosions), two civilians have been killed and ten more people have been injured.
In addition, an administrative building, four multi-storey residential buildings, a garage and two private cars have been damaged.
Another bombardment damaged the power grid.
In addition, helicopters launched unguided aerial rockets in the direction of the village of Volfyne in Bilopillia hromada, Sumy district, causing four explosions.
A mortar attack was carried out on Nova Sloboda hromada, and 18 explosions occurred. As a result of the attack, an outbuilding caught fire, and shrapnel damaged a tractor. Another mortar attack damaged three private houses. Also, the dropping of explosives from a UAV was recorded, causing three explosions.
The Russians attacked Khotin hromada with mortars, with 22 explosions.
Artillery shelling was carried out on Krasnopillia hromada, 10 explosions occurred. Two private houses were damaged as a result of one bombardment. Another shelling damaged an abandoned outbuilding. Mortar attacks and 15 explosions were also recorded. In addition, a helicopter fired unguided aerial rockets, causing three explosions.
Yunakivka hromada: there was artillery shelling, with 32 explosions. As a result of one shelling, two private houses, a garage and a moped were damaged. The Russians also fired mortars, with six explosions.
Shalyhyne hromada was shelled with artillery, with five explosions.
A mortar attack was recorded in Seredyna-Buda hromada with 43 explosions. One of the attacks resulted in a fire in a private house.
Esman hromada was shelled with artillery, with six explosions.
