Spain sends batch of Leopard 2A4 tanks and armoured personnel carriers to Ukraine

The Spanish Ministry of Defence reported on sending Ukraine a batch of humanitarian and military assistance, which includes the last batch of Leopard 2A4 tanks.

Details: The Spanish Ministry of Defence reported that a ship with said cargo departed from the port of Santander in the direction of Ukraine, and is expected to be fully delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in early August.

Quote: "The cargo sent by Spain consists of four Leopard 2A4 tanks in addition to six Leopard 2s with the same characteristics that have been transferred to the Ukrainian government."

In addition, Spain sent ten TOA M-113 armoured vehicles (three of them for the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine), ten heavy trucks (five for border guards, the rest for the Armed Forces of Ukraine), and an armoured multi-purpose vehicle (for border guards).

The cargo also includes three civilian ambulances and an armoured ambulance, as well as an armoured civilian ambulance (for border guards).
