Russia strikes Pervomaiskyi with Iskander missile, injuring more than 40 – Prosecutor's Office

The number of people injured in the recent missile attack on the settlement of Pervomaiskyi, Kharkiv Oblast, has risen to 43.

Quote from Syniehubov: "Specified information from the medics says that as of now, 43 people including 12 children have been injured in the Russian attack on Pervomaiskyi. The medics treated 5 people on the spot. Their condition is moderate and mild.

Details: The rescuers reported that as of 18:00, at least 41 people have been injured in the attack, including 12 children.

There are two newborns among the children. The medics report that the condition of a 10-year old boy, who was sent to intensive care, has been stabilised. Other children have received light shrapnel wounds, bruises and scratches. They all have received medical treatment. 

Andrii Kostin, Prosecutor General of Ukraine, specified that the Russians had struck the town centre with an Iskander missile.

Background: On 4 July, an explosion sounded in the town of Pervomaiskyi in Kharkiv Oblast. As a result a fire has started, cars and residential houses have been damaged.

 

The Suspilne media outlet remarked that the explosion in the town sounded during the farewell with Oleh Fadieienko with an alias Malysh (Baby), soldier of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of Ukraine.
