Polish President Andrzej Duda believes that with the amount of weapons that Ukrainian forces now have, Ukraine is not able to change the balance of the war in its favour.

Details: Duda noted that thanks to the military aid of partners, Ukraine now has a much more modern military potential than Russia, but this is not enough.

Quote: "The question is: Does Ukraine have enough weapons to change the balance of the war and get the upper hand? And the answer is probably no.

They probably do not have enough weapons. And we know this by the fact that they’re not currently able to carry out a very decisive counteroffensive against the Russian military. To make a long story short, they need more assistance."

Background: The US Department of Defense has been observing the Ukrainian Defence Forces' advance as part of a counteroffensive but predicts it will be a challenging and prolonged struggle.

According to CNN, based on the current situation on the battlefield, Western officials are beginning to consider it unlikely that a major success by the Ukrainian Defence Forces would change the situation considerably.
