Do "good Russians" exist: Ukraine's Special Operations Forces reveal secrets of their psychological operations

An officer of a psychological operations unit of Ukraine's Special Operations Forces speaks about the war, Russian YouTube blogger Yury Dud, the fakes around the Magura brigade, and "good Russians".

Details: Special Operations Forces have three main components: combat units of special operations, resistance movement, and information and psychological operations.

The work of the latter had been kept in the shadows. Now, the Special Operations Forces reveal the specifics of their equally important work.

As further explained by the press service of the SOF to Ukrainska Pravda, the psychological operations are aimed exclusively at Russians; in relation to Ukrainian citizens these units operate exclusively in the mode of providing objective information.

Quote from the SOF officer: "Units of information and psychological operations working in the SOF are a separate component that conducts defensive or offensive psychological operations that reduce the enemy's capabilities on the battlefield, namely: force the enemy to move away from the occupied positions, surrender for the sake of saving their life, sabotage the orders of the command and up to the return to their territory to solve social and domestic issues at home, and not on the territory of our country.

For them, this is desertion, but for some reason they are afraid of their dictator more than the criminal orders of their command. And we negate that. We are working on it."

Details: The officer, who goes by call-sign Bravo, also addressed his opponents, representatives of the psychological operations units of the Russian Federation: "The benevolence of Ukrainians towards Russians was destroyed by your own missiles and bullets. The whole civilised world stands behind Ukraine. None of your information materials or statements will wash off the blood of our women and children from your hands. So think about whether you should justify your terrorist soldiers and dictatorial regime in this war."
