Germany transfers military aid to Ukraine, including 2 IRIS-T systems
The German government has reported on the next tranche of military aid to Ukraine, which included, in particular, two IRIS-T launchers.

Details: In addition to the IRIS-T launchers, Germany provided Ukraine with more than 4,500 rounds of 155-mm smoke ammunition.
The new package also includes 10 GO12 ground surveillance radars.
Ukraine also received four HX81 truck tractor trains and four semi-trailers, as well as eight load-handling trucks.
Background: In one of the previous aid packages, Germany handed over two more Patriot air defence missile launchers to Ukraine.
During his visit to Kyiv on 14 August, German Finance Minister Christian Lindner assured of further support for Ukraine in its fight against Russia.
