Türkiye to build second corvette for needs of Ukraine's Navy

Türkiye will build a second Ada-type corvette for the needs of the Ukrainian Navy, and the keel has been laid at one of the shipyards in Istanbul.

Details: This is already the second corvette being built by Türkiye for the needs of the Ukrainian Navy, under the existing agreements.

Reportedly, all works are being carried out on time in accordance with the schedules and signed contracts.

Background: In October 2022, the building of the first Ukrainian Ada-class corvette, Hetman Ivan Mazepa, was launched in Türkiye at the RMK Marine shipyard.
