The number of civilians injured in a Russian night missile strike on the city of Dnipro has increased to 10.

Details: Three people were hospitalised: a 55-year-old woman and two men, 33 and 48. They are in a state of moderate severity. The Kherson Oblast Military Administration posted a video of the attack’s aftermath.

Background:

  • The Russian forces fired missiles on the city of Dnipro on the night of 23-24 August, injuring 10 people and damaging residential and other buildings, buses, cars, water and gas pipelines.
  • Civilian infrastructure was damaged, among them a transport object. The victim has mostly lacerations and shrapnel wounds.
  • According to local authorities, a dozen buildings suffered from the attacks. Among them are a bank, a gas station, a hotel, an agricultural firm, a furniture factory, and an administrative building. Fifteen market stalls were also damaged.
  • In addition, two residential buildings, three buses and several cars, overhead wires for trolleybuses and water and gas pipelines were affected.
